An inspirational and motivational speaker, songwriter, and critical thought facilitator, Berenice’ brings an inspiring and comedic flair to every engagement. By keeping it real, her persona is vibrant and relatable, live and in color!

As a single mother of two adult sons and the fifth of six children, Berenice’ was born on the Southside of Chicago, IL. Her family, deeply rooted in Afro-centric awareness and enriched by cross-continental travel, instilled in her a passion for writing, public speaking, and social activism. Church, family values, and mutual support were integral parts of her upbringing.

From the age of 10, writing became Berenice's healing, joyful, and cathartic escape. Over the years, this passion evolved into a powerful voice for cultural change, addressing the "in your face" injustices of daily life. Her compositions cover a wide array of topics, including:
